Jumping Puppy Pull Tab Slider Card
Hello, hello! I am so happy to see you here today…which is why I decided to create a pull tab slider card! Are you ready to join me in the tutorial? Cos I am super excited, like jumping-puppy excited!
I have created pull tab slider cards before (like this unicorn card, this owl card, this woodland critters card and this bunnies card), and this time around I was inspired by Sandy Allnock’s road trip/ camping card. To set the scene, I die-cut a window frame using Springtime Window by Cottage Cutz from a white card stock and adhered them onto an acetate sheet. I then lightly traced the window opening on the card front with pencil and cut it out using a craft knife. The window was then mounted onto the card front. I also used a patterned paper for the wall.
I then die-cut the drape which was blended in with Abandoned Coral and Spun Sugar for the interior wall. The puppy was then stamped using Versafine ink on an acetate and heat embossed with clear powder. The colouring was done with Copic markers on the back of the stamped image. When colouring on acetate, I made sure to use darker colours and flipped to the front from time to time to get the effect I desired.
I punched two circles, blended in Spun Sugar and adhered them to the top of the acetate sheet before punching a smaller circle to tie a ribbon. Using double-sided adhesive, I glued tiny pieces of craft foams at the bottom of the acetate sheet, one at each side, to act as stoppers. The card front was then mounted onto the card base with two layers of foam tapes, while making sure the track where the puppy was sliding in was clear. I also decided to add a hand-cut hedge from a green piece of paper for added interests.
Click here to watch the pull tab slider in action. Thank you for stopping by and see you soon!
Hugs, Michelle

This is so super sweet! I love him just peeping out and I love the grass at the bottom of the window. That’s a really nice touch. I’m very impressed with your skills in making these moving cards – I just can’t muster the engineering skills required 🙂 xx
