Under The Sea Shaker Card

Hello, hello! Hope you enjoyed the kids in pyjamas in my previous post. What? You can’t get enough of their cuteness? Fret not, here I am today to your rescue…with this incredibly sweet mermaid also by Elena from Just Me! She also shares her talents with various companies including this card I made with a Neat & Tangled stamp set.

As usual, I printed the FREE digital stamp on a piece of Neenah Solar White card stock and coloured them in with Copic markers. I accentuated the scales on the mermaid’s tail with a white gel pen. To create this under the sea scene, I also used the adorable critters from So Jelly, a hand drawn seashell throne and a bannered sentiment from Charmed (believe it or not, Elena designed this as well). Katy from Hook, Line and Inker sent me these precious critters a while back and I am so excited to be using them (thanks, Katy)!

To turn this into a shaker card, I used the Pierced Rectangle Frame Die-namics to create a window, which was popped up with three layers of foam tape on top of a blue patterned paper. I shared more details on how to create shaker cards here and here. For the finishing touch, I added some enamel dots in coordinating colours.

Hope you enjoyed today’s card. Thank you for stopping by and see you soon!

Hugs, Michelle
