Shaker Card + Inlay Die-cutting
Hello, hello! It is officially autumn here and I am so glad the weather is starting to cool down a little! Hope you are having a good day where you are, too!
With February over now, the Daily Marker 30 Day Coloring Challenge also came to a bittersweet end. It was my first full-attendance challenge, which is awesome as now I am left with a bunch of coloured images waiting to get onto a card; I just can’t wait for the next 30-day challenge or even the pop-up challenges that Kathy has in store for us!
Today’s card uses one of the free digital stamps that I coloured with Copic markers on Neenah Classic Crest Solar White during the challenge. In fact, the husband and I had a fun day colouring a herd of Schorschis – a free digital donkey stamp by Birka – and this was one of them. That’s his Junior Schorschi on the top right. What an amazing feeling to be able to share my hobby with my loved ones!
I pulled the card together using the Stitched Rectangle Dies and the Flower Circles Dies by Waffle Flowers. I am seriously in love with these Flower Circles – they make such fantastic shaker windows! The patterned paper peeking though the shaker window was from Project Life Polka Dot Party Kit. For the shaker, I added some sequins and beads; the pastel-coloured sequins were from my dear friend Katy at Hook, Line and Inker. I also adhered some enamel dots on the card front.
Thanks for stopping by and see you soon!
